In the bowl, mix the oil with all the spices/herbs (basil, cumin, curry ) and depending on how many slices of aubergine you prepare, add more oil if needed.
Now you need to get your hands dirty. Go for it and cover the sliced aubergine with the marinade. Leave it all in the bowl, and go do something else that needs doing or have a cup of java for at least 30 minutes. 🙂
