My second week on the diet has not been very eventful. Since I could eat all the vegies I wanted, I was not too hungry.
I also went over the rules again and found out about another mistake of mine. I misunderstood the instructions and did not use enough protein in my shakes. That is another reason why you may feel hungry. Sooo, I added a couple more grams and, voila, no hunger at all now. Happy as a bug.
My biggest problem has always been sufficient water intake. Drinking has never been my forte and I am always looking for ways how to cope with it. In the end, I always prepare a large 2 litre jug of water and try to take half a litre 4 times a day. That helps a lot and besides I do not have to dring it all at once. I have until the next meal to finish the portion off.
My second week on the diet was also spent trying not to step on the scale every day :-D. This was quite difficult as I am a numbers person and have this handy table, in which I can measure my progress
And you know what? I found out my weight was dropping in periods of every two or three days. Weigh-ins were not needed.
Suppers were a little more creative as I have a recipe book and could pick. Now preparing supper took about 30 minutes and after that I also had a shake.
Overall I was happy and lost another kilo (2 pounds). The only thing I regret is that I forgot to make nice photos before. Those that I have cannot be published. I may just cut out my belly and post it on for later. We shall see.
